Jennifer A. Hemmer
Ms. Hemmer received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1986. After college she played professional basketball in Germany. Following her time in Europe, she completed her Masters degree in International Relations at Columbia University in New York City. Prior to entering law school, she had a 15 year career in sports and sponsorship marketing in New York and San Francisco, working for the U.S. Soccer Federation, the National Basketball Association and Visa.
Ms. Hemmer returned to Sacramento to attend the University of Pacific McGeorge School of Law. While in law school, she worked as a certified law student for the civil practice clinic on campus, representing clients in court and in settlement negotiations. In her last year at McGeorge, Ms. Hemmer worked as an extern for the judges of the Family Relations Courthouse in Sacramento County. After graduation in 2008, she joined her mother in her family law practice.
